pretty impressive lights from the old synagogue on the south side of Glasgow. The top dome bits are brass and there is a lovely star of David on the top and little ones above each of the actual lights.They have suffered a bit from being moved around for a few years before coming to us and they could do with a bit of TLC but they're well worth it and will be very impressive when fixed up. Their current ailments are as follows; One of the small stars of David is missing and another is damaged (we can sort these out). The glass shades are not as old as the main lights, but they look fine and are perfectly suitable, though the glass on the bases are cracked in a couple of instances ( again we can sort this out though the glass may not be a perfect match). Finally the big glass dome is actually plastic, though you wouldn't know that until you touched it, and its a definate advantage weight-wise. The bigger of the 2 lights has no base shade at all.
