I was going to say that this is the latest style of pew we've got in, but since I took the pic we've cleared another church. Anyway, these rather nice ones came from a church in Greenock and are yellow pine with lovely roundels displaying the pew numbers. We can cut them to any length and when we are stripping them we tend to pop the number bits out so as to put them back later as it seems a shame to lose that little bit of history. we also have a lot of good timber planking from this job. |
