Here are

From
East to West.
The story of a typical cast iron, roll top bath. This
one, we pulled out of an Edinburgh town house looking
a little sorry for itself. The new owner had it re-enamelled
and installed in their west end appartment. The side was
painted with antique copper from Craig
& Rose's classic 1829 'precious metals' range.
The sink and chrome towel radiator were also from G.A.S
and can be seen here, once they'd been given a quick wipe
down and polish, looking outstanding.
All cost considerably less than the modern designer range.
A range that can only attempt to emulate their authentic
period grandeur. |
